These scholarships provide financial help up to the full-cost of tuition including tuition fees, reasonable living and educational expenses. Schools that participate in this program are responsible for selecting scholarship recipients and nursing students must apply for this scholarship at the student financial aid office of the school where they intend to be enrolled.Nursing Scholarship ProgramThe HRSA provide the Nursing Scholarship (grant) Program which pays for the full cost of tuition and expenses for each qualifying Nurse. The program also provides a monthly stipend of over $1200 per month. Nursing students can apply for this scholarship if they are full-time undergraduates studying an accredited nursing program. In return, when students graduate they are required to commit themselves to providing 730 day (fulltime) paid service in a health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses recognized by the NSP.
