Kentucky student Grants for college and university

Students who plan to continue their education in a Kentucky university or college may be eligible to apply for several student grants to help cover the cost of their study. Students who have enrolled or have been accepted for a course of study in Kentucky college or university should approach the financial aid department of their school to enquire about grant and financial aid opportunities as there maybe help available to assist paying for tuition fees and student expenses. Government need-based grants are also available to Kentucky students who demonstrate a need for financial support. These grants can be used as grants for student housing, money to pay for tuition fees and pay for books and equipment. To be assessed for eligibility of these grants, students are required to complete a FAFSA application.

There are several external grants providers in Kentucky who may be able to assist students’ access college and university programs through financial support; these include grants for minorities and grants for women. Again, students will need to meet certain criteria for receiving these awards, which could include specific courses of study, residency in Kentucky and many other requirements.
