Indiana college and university student grant programs

Indiana is home to several colleges and universities, all of which have dedicated aid and funding departments specifically to try and help students continue their studies. These departments advise students on funding option usually available to them directly through the school as well as programs operated by the federal and state government, and should be the first place student visit if they are enrolled or accepted for specific study program. The most common school grant programs available to students studying in Indiana are provided directly through the federal government, these include the Federal Pell Grant and the Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant. These grants can be accessed by certain students to help pay for tuition expenses, books and even used as grants for student housing. To apply for federal aid, students will be required to complete and submit a FAFSA application which can be done online or with the help of their college or university.

The State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana also helps students who are studying at a college or university in Indiana with financial assistance in some cases, so students looking for study grants and financial aid should also approach this organization for help.
