School grants for Georgia College and University Students

Students heading off to a Georgia university or college to study for a professional career could be eligible to receive financial assistance from a several providers to help pay for the cost of their tuition. The first place students should look for financial aid if they plan to study in Georgia would with the colleges or universities that they wish to study at. Many of the colleges and universities in Georgia have resources available to help students fund their tuition costs; these include grants for student housing, grants for minority students and much more.

Student wishing to apply for financial aid through a Georgia college or university will probably need to complete a need-based grant application (FAFSA) which will then be assessed for eligibility of federal and Georgia state government student aid. Students should also approach the Georgia Student Finance Commission for advice about financial help available to Georgia based students.
