Connecticut student grants for college and university
Students planning to study in Connecticut have a variety of financial aid and school grant options they could be eligible for to help towards paying for the cost of their education. The Connecticut Department of Higher Education is the first place students should approach for grant and financial aid information, and when student apply to a university or college in Connecticut, they should enquire about scholarships and study grant programs that the education institutions may offer.
The federal government operates several need-based grant programs that Connecticut student may be eligible for which include the Federal Pell Grant and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant. Students wishing to apply for federal or Connecticut state government student financial aid will need to complete a FAFSA application.
